Slidinėjimo turnyras California

February 8th, 2009

Organizuojama žiemos iškyla ir slidinėjimo savaitė

Pranešame, kad šių metų kovo 21-28 dienomis Šiaurės Amerikos Lietuvių Fizinio  Auklėjimo ir  Sporto Sąjunga (ŠALFASS) bei Amerikos Lietuvių Gydytojų Asociacija (ALGS) kviečia žiemos išvykon į nuostabų Heavenly Mountain kalnų slidinėjimo kurortą South Lake Tahoe (CA). Tuo metu minėtos organizacijos kartu su Pasaulio Lietuvių Kalnų Slidinėjimo Federacija (PLKSF) organizuoja slidinėjimo varžybas. Ankstesniais metais jose dalyvaudavo daugelis mūsų tautiečių sporto entuziastų su savo šeimomis iš Lietuvos, Š. Amerikos ir kitų šalių. Tad ir vėl kviečiame visus jau dalyvavusius anksčiau sugrįžti, o tuos, kurie dar nebuvote čia su mumis – prisijungti šiemet ir visiems kartu smagiai praleisti laiką nuostabių kalnų aplinkoje.

Apgyvendinimas ir kita informacija

Organizatoriai rekomenduoja apsistoti “Embassy Suites Hotel” viešbutyje, kuris yra susijungęs su anksčiau paminėtu slidinėjimo kurortu. Mūsų grupei bus kasdien paruošti pusryčiai, “happy hour” gėrimai ir užkandžiai. Šis viešbutis yra šalia vietinio kazino, parduotuvių, įvairių restoranų bei kitų pramogų centrų. Norint užsirezervuoti kambarį šiame viešbutyje, slidinėjimo takų pakilimo bilietus, slidžių nuomai bei slidinėjimo  leidimus, susitarti dėl atvežimo į viešbutį iš oro uosto skambinkite Mary Hajdas į Heavenly Tahoe Vacations tel. 1-800-432-8365 (ext. 4406), 775-586-4406, arba rašykite jai el. paštu MHajdas@vailresorts.com. Būtinai paminėkite, kad priklausysite lietuvių ŠALFASS slidinėtojų grupei (angl. Lithuanian SALFASS ski group) – tada gausite specialias nuolaidas.

„happy hour” metu „Apres Ski” patalpoje „Embassy Suites” viešbutyje. Kovo 22 d. (sekmadienį), siūlome paslidinėti Heavenly Mountain, vidurdienį pavalgyti “Sky Deck” restorane. Registracijos ir atidarymo ceremonijos vietą ir laiką pranešime kiek vėliau. Kovo 23 d. (pirmadienį), treniruočių diena Heavenly Mountain’s “World Cup” take. Pietūs vidurdienį “Adventure Peak Grill” restorane gondolos viršuje. Tie, kas neslidinės, pakilimo taku gali nuvažiuoti iki kalno viršūnės ir prisijungti kartu priešpiečiams restorane, tuo pačiu pasigrožėsite nuostabiais kalnų vaizdais. „Happy hour” bus vėl “Apres Ski” patalpoje tame pačiame viešbutyje. Kovo 24 d. (antradienį), didžiojo slalomo lenktynių diena Heavenly Mountain’s ”World Cup” slidinėjimo take. Varžybų pradžios laikas bus paskelbtas vėliau. Pavalgyti siūlome “California  Lodge” kavinėje šio tako apačioje. „Happy hour” kaip visada “Apres Ski” tame pačiame viešbutyje. Kovo 25 d. (trečiadienį) – slalomo lenktynių diena Heavenly Mountain’s “World Cup” slidinėjimo take (laikas bus paskelbtas vėliau). Vidurdienį pavalgysime “Lakeview Lodge Food Court” kavinėje Aerial Tram viršuje. „Happy hour” toje pačioje „Apres Ski” vietoje viešbutyje. Kovo 26 d.

773-860-0146. Visus prašome užsirezervuoti viešbučio kambarius ir bilietus kuo greičiau. Sekite tolimesnė informaciją. Lauksime Jūsų atvykstant!

SALFASS/ALGS LT Aspen Ski Trip March 22nd – 29th

April 12th, 2008

Labas Visiems! (Hello to all)

The recent Aspen ski trip was a wonderful success!  All who attended said they can’t wait for next years trip…

We skied beautiful mountains loaded with snow, laughed a lot, shared stories over fantastic meals, wandered around the quaint town of Aspen, shopped and checked out the nightlife. And the ski races were filled with personal achievement and excitement.

SALFASS/ALGS would like to thank everyone who could come out and participate in the Aspen experience.  You may download the attached file for the article that ran in the Lithuanian daily newspaper “Draugas”.

There was an article as well in the Lithuanian weekly newspaper “Amerikos Lietuvis”. Please click on the following link to read that article:

We now look forward to next year’s SALFASS ski event being held at Heavenly Valley Ski Resort at Lake Tahoe, California on March 21 – 28, 2009.

The Lithuanian World Ski Championships organized by Pasaulio Lietuviu Kalnu Slidinejimo Federacija are being held during that same week in conjunction with SALFASS and ALGS. As in the past, there will be hundreds from Lithuania and around the world attending and having a blast.
